First round of qualifying in TMFC looks like this.

Urs Erbacher 5,925/400
Dan Larsen 6,000/388
Arvid Grdem 6,278/365
Leif Andreasson 6,810/233
Ulf Leanders 6,974/295
Martin Lundqvist 11,156/107

Both Ulf and Martin had problems with tireshake,
Ulf tried to drive through it but still lost a good 1 second,
Martin lifted all the way to save the car.
next run is due about 17.00 CET.
On the phone with Bosse Helln (gearbox/clutch man on Ulf's car)
at 16.00 he said that there was a gentle drizzle in the air.
But hopes where high to get another run off today.

After the second round of qualifying the standings are as follows:

Urs Erbacher 5,853/401
Dan Larsen 5,881/395
Arvid Grdem 6,069/376
Niclas Andersson 6,372/303
Jarmo Kuutniemi 6,660/320
Leif Andreasson 6,810/233
Ulf Leanders 6,974/295
Martin Lundqvist 11,156/107

Ulf had bigger shakes then first outing, he didnt even
get a chance to drive through thisone.
Martin popped his blowerbelt and shut down.
No improvements for the team as far as times goes.
Next round will be tomorrow morning,
Ulf is going to try a brand new set of Hoosiers for the
next round to see if the shakes give in.

Weather at Gardemoen is rain, forecast for the afternoon is rain or cloudy,
much depending on where you look. Rain will probably stay in the area until monday.
As soon as the team get the heads up from the race directors i will update again.

13.40 cet and the rain has stopped, the crew at gardemoen raceway
is working hard at the moment and has given a preliminary heads up for 15.30.
They are currently drying the track using the jet-blower.
I'll check back with the guys in just over 1 hour.

14.30 cet, the skies open over Gardemoen raceway.
And it aint sunshine wich is flodding the track!
It will probably take a miracle to dry the track in time to qualify today.
I'll try to get in touch with the guys around 18.00 cet and get a fresh report.

17.50 cet and the rain keep falling in norway.
The racedirector called it a day at 16.30 and has given the next
heads up for 8.30 tomorrow, starting eliminations.
I aint sure about the pairing but i think this is how it will look:

Urs Erbacher - Martin Lundqvist
Dan Larsen - Ulf Leanders
Arvid Grdem - Leif Andreasson
Niclas Andersson - Jarmo Kuutniemi

The crew of VP group is working in the pits, trying to get all excess
water to make its may out from martins area.
I guess sleeping with lifejacket on is a good idea.

Again the rain lets the crew dry the track, get cars to the line up,
just to start drizzle again. Latest word from the track let us know
that the race directors will have a meeting at 13.00 cet.

I just recived words from Gardemoen that the race has been stopped due to rain.
The guys from Velocity Performance Group has started to pack and are expected home during the night.

I would like to thank Tog from Eurodragster for keeping the people up
to date at the event and giving us a spot in the news.
And a special thank you goes to Joan and Dan Larsen for the pictures and
reports for TMFC during the weekend.
Hope to see you all at Santa Pod.
