First outing in 2005 was no huge success.
Ulf did his burnout and the team made minor adjustments (?)
before going into stage. Once there Ulf for some reason started to roll over the line, no real 'red light' but same effect.
No news as to why Martin didnt run but there is time again tomorrow for both.
Robin has a last outing today but i'm not sure they'll run due to lots of track spills.

The last round for Robin had him pushed down to #5 spot,
so the top 5 are split by 0.015 seconds. Tomorrow has 2 rounds of eliminations and we sure hope Robin can repeat
his previous success at Santa Pod.

Ulf manages a 6.705 according to Eurodragsters live reporting,
no news about Martin at the moment.
The problems for Ulf yesterday was due to new clutch wich gave the car a slightly different staging procedure.
One more run today, should be reports coming in around 17.00 cet.
And it looks like Robin got eliminated in the first round of junior dragster this morning.

Martin got his first run of in the last qualifying round, thou only managed to make a 8.82 after a fine start, and did not advance to the eliminations. Same goes for Ulf who still had problems with rolling at stage, his best of 6.705 give him 10th spot and 0.404 from making eliminations.

Ulf was race ready at the start of eliminations, as 1st reserv he could be called in if someone had problems.
Now noone did just that and they headed back to the pits, thou with the possible test run later today.

Ulf was given the green light for the test run, and pulled a modest 8.024 after hitting the shakes. BUT the 60' time of 0.978 is a giant leap forward this weekend, that time could have been a possible 5.7 or lower if it was a clean run.

Thanks Kenneth for this nice job of reporting!

Hopefully we will soon have a computer with wireless internet connection with us at the events. I will then try to report directly from the track with as little delay as possible.
