They have a lot of equipment for cleaning and drying the track.		They even have two jet-powered track dryers!		Stuntman Sune Andersson is covering some spectators in tire smoke.		Some remnants from Sune's tire could be found on a car!!		Webmaster Urban Olars is smiling because he just received a header from Nitro Funny Car racer John Spuffard.

A long burnout.		Ready to GO!		Jörgen Leanders and webmaster Urban Olars were temporary stand-in mechanics for Top Fuel racer Jöran Persåker this weekend!

 

Drag Challenge Gardermoen Raceway 5-7 August 2005

Ulf doing a burnout.				Martin broke the blower belt during the burnout in the second qualifying run.		Green light for Ulf.		Ulf being towed back to the pits. His daughter Erika is passenger!
Robin kadi getting into stage.		Nelly Nygaard getting into stage.		The race track is located just beside the airport of Oslo so air planes is landing and taking off several times a day.		This was the case on saturday and sunday: a race track full of water.		We had some problems with water in the pit area!
The water problems were solved by digging a ditch.		Strange things can happen to dragracing tires. This is a set of Top Fuel tires from Tommy Möller's car.		This would have been a more suitable vehicle for getting down the wet track!!		Boss Hoss. A motor cycle with v8 engine.		Our crew members Nicklas Wikström and Peter Ström competed by running the length of the track.
Peter Ström didn't make it all the way. Rumors said he had broken a blower belt :-)		Feeding the crew.

 

Veidec Nitro Festival 28-31 July 2005

Nitro Nationals Alastaro Circuit 1-3 July 2005

 

Alastaro race track.		Maintenance of Martin's car in the pits.		Jörgen and Jonny discussing some "secret" settings of the clutch.		Warmup of Martin's car in the pits.		The pit area is jammed with crowds as usual .
Both cars lined up and ready for qualifying .		Martin gets OK to run from crew chief Niklas .		Lars spraying deicing liquid on the injector .		Ulf gets OK to run from crew chief Jörgen.		Robin's junior dragster has a paint job similar to Ulf's car
Anna/Nelly's junior dragster has a paint job similar to Martin's car		Martin is strapped in the car and ready to go.		Ulf running against Urs Erbacher in the second round of eliminations.		The old Ford Mustang body is now used as a spare body just in case...		Anything can happen in these engines. One of our competitors were striked with this bad luck during the weekend.
